David's Recipe for Mint Chutney

One of the most popular chutneys, but not in our house.

Chutney, Indian

  • 1 large onion
  • 1/2 cup fresh, chopped mint leaves
  • At least 1 chili pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon or lime
  • Pinch of salt
  1. Dice the onion.
  2. Wearing gloves, seed and chop fine the chili, and add to the onion.
  3. Mix in the mint leaves.
  4. Mix in the salt and the lemon.
  5. Allow to stand for several hours before serving with curry.
